Warrior Fatboy Next Rib Guard

The Warrior Fatboy Next Rib Guard brings dependable midsection protection to developing box lacrosse players at a program-friendly price. Built on the same Fatboy protection concept, it shields the ribs, kidneys, and lower back from the cross-checks and board contact that define the box game, so younger and entry-level athletes can learn the physical side of the sport with confidence. It's an easy outfitting choice for youth and intro-level rosters.

Key features & specs

• Tough outer shell over high-density foam absorbs and disperses impact across the rib and torso area
• Segmented rear breaks contour the guard to the body for wrap-around coverage of the midsection and back
• Streamlined "Next" entry-level build keeps weight and bulk low for growing players
• Sits comfortably under a jersey or shoulder pad without limiting rotation or reach
• Unisex fit offered in youth and junior sizing for box and high-contact play

Coach's tip: Fit snug over the ribs so the guard can't ride up on contact, with the breaks wrapping toward the back. Wipe down with mild soap and water after use and air-dry completely before storage to preserve the foam and shell.
