Coach's tip: Choose a breakaway rim (Pro Image or Arena Slam) for players who dunk or hang, and match the rim's mounting pattern to your backboard before ordering. Check net loops and mounting bolts for tightness each season, and wipe the rim down periodically to slow rust on outdoor installations.
