Porter Boom Pad; 1135 Portable; 8' Ext

Protect your players and dress up your portable backstop with the Porter Boom Pad, built for the 1135 portable system with an 8' extension. The pad wraps the bottom and sides of the horizontal backboard support arm — the "boom" — cushioning the hard steel that players can run into on fast breaks and rebounds. It is a simple, high-impact safety upgrade that also gives your program a finished, arena-quality look and a surface for school branding.

Key features & specs:

• Covers the bottom and both sides of the horizontal backboard support arm
• 2" thick shock-absorbing foam core for meaningful impact protection
• Wrapped in heavy 19 oz. vinyl-coated polyester scrim that stands up to daily gym use
• Installs quickly with hook-and-loop attachment strips — no tools required
• Meets International Basketball Federation (FIBA) requirements for competition
• Custom graphics available to add team logos, colors, or sponsors

Coach's tip: Order in your school colors with a logo to turn a required safety pad into a branding opportunity. Care: Wipe the vinyl clean with mild soap and water, let it dry fully before storage, and inspect the hook-and-loop strips each season for a secure hold.
