Product Description
The Gill Vault Trainer System is a unique device that helps beginner and intermediate vaulters safely rehearse the body positions that occur at peak vault height. By letting athletes acclimate to being inverted and rotating around the pole, it builds the coordination and confidence that are hard to develop on the runway alone, while strengthening the muscle groups responsible for an effective push-off.
Key features & specs:
- Trains body positions at peak vault height for beginners and intermediates
- Strengthens muscle groups for an effective push-off
- Coordinates grip and pole positions through the rotation and push-off
- Hangs from goal posts or basketball backboard rigging
- Complete with cables, ankle cuffs, and pole section
Coach's tip: Mount it to a rigid, properly rated structure and supervise athletes closely as they learn the inverted positions. Inspect the cables and cuffs before every session for wear, and take the system down and store it dry between uses to protect the hardware.
