Product Description
The Gill Indoor Starting Block is engineered specifically for indoor tracks, where you can't drive pins or nails into the surface. Instead, it uses foot pressure on its flaps to grip the track and provide a solid, non-slip start — giving sprinters a powerful, secure launch without damaging your indoor facility.
Key features & specs:
- Designed for: Indoor track use
- Grip system: No nails, pins, or holes needed to hold the block in place
- Function: Foot pressure on the flaps provides a non-slip start
- Benefit: Secure starts without damaging the indoor surface
- Model: GP-417
Coach's tip: Have athletes settle their weight onto the flaps before the set position so the block bites the surface for a slip-free drive. Keep the flap surfaces clean of dust and grit, which can reduce grip on a polished indoor track, and store the blocks flat to protect the mechanism.
