Product Description
The Gill Foam Training Hurdle is the ideal tool for teaching hurdle technique safely, made of forgiving foam that won't punish an athlete who clips it. It's heavy enough to stand upright through drills yet light enough to be fully portable, and its durable vinyl covering handles both indoor and outdoor use — a versatile staple for developing hurdlers and running agility work.
Key features & specs:
- Material: Forgiving foam with a durable vinyl covering
- Stability: Heavy enough to remain upright, light enough to stay fully portable
- Heights: Available in 30", 33", 36", and 39"
- Pad width: Pads are 35.5" wide
- Use/Model: Indoor and outdoor use; GP-409
Coach's tip: Use foam hurdles for beginners and rhythm drills so athletes can attack the barrier without fear of a painful clip, then progress to competition hurdles. Wipe the vinyl clean and store hurdles out of prolonged sun to keep the covering from cracking over time.
