Mizuno Batter's Hand Guard

The Mizuno Batter's Hand Guard protects one of a hitter's most vulnerable spots, the top hand, without adding bulk or slowing down the swing. A one-piece ABS plastic hard shell shields the back of the hand and wrist from fast inside pitches, deflecting impact away from delicate bones. It's designed to integrate cleanly with a batting glove: underside Velcro attaches the guard to the glove so the batting glove strap locks it down, while an elastic middle-finger loop keeps the shield anchored in the proper position through every swing.

Coach's tip: mount it on the top hand (the hand closest to the knob) and secure it with the batting glove strap so it can't rotate. Wipe the shell clean after use and check the Velcro and finger loop for wear.
