The Smith Truss is a unisex performance-lifestyle sunglasses built on Smith's Evolve material — a lightweight, durable polymer incorporating 53% bio-based content. The frame is designed to transition between active outdoor use and casual everyday wear, with a classic silhouette paired with performance-oriented fit features. ChromaPop polycarbonate lenses are available in three configurations: standard ChromaPop (non-polarized), ChromaPop Polarized, and ChromaPop Photochromic — which adapts lens tint to changing light conditions while maintaining ChromaPop's color and contrast enhancement throughout the tint range. Smudge and moisture-resistant coatings are applied to all lens options for easy maintenance. Non-polarized colorways include lens vents for moisture mitigation during high-output activity. The Truss is sized with a lens width of 57mm, lens height of 48mm, bridge width of 15mm, and temple length of 145mm. QuickFit adjustable temples allow the fit to be dialed in without tools, and Megol hydrophilic rubber on both the nose pads and temple grips increases its hold as the wearer perspires — keeping the frame stable during rides or active sessions. AutoLock hinges hold the frame open for easy one-handed on and off. A removable TPU bridge piece adds comfort and allows for style customization. The temple tips include leash-ready holes for attaching the included paracord sunglass leash, and the frame is compatible with helmet docking on most modern cycling helmets.
