Product Description
The PowerMax Dual Speed Trainer turns two athletes into one training system. Connected by 20 feet of stretchable latex tubing, one athlete provides resistance while the other gets an overspeed assist — a proven method for teaching the body to run faster than it can on its own. Overspeed work increases both stride length and stride frequency, the two levers that drive raw sprint speed, while the resisted partner builds the drive-phase power that gets athletes out of the blocks and up to top speed faster.
Key features & specs
- Two-person design — Assisted overspeed and resistance running in a single kit
- 20' latex tubing — Stretches to roughly twice its length for a smooth, progressive pull
- Overspeed benefit — Increases stride length and frequency for the trailing athlete
- Medium-heavy tubing — Delivers a firmer resistance level for stronger, more advanced athletes
- Complete kit — Includes 20' tubing, two 3"-wide hook-and-loop belts adjustable to a 42" waist, and a carry bag
Coach's tip: Keep reps short and full-effort with complete recovery — overspeed training is about quality, not volume. Care: Inspect the tubing for nicks before each use, keep it clear of sharp edges, and store out of direct heat and sun.
